Bangladesh They’ve bowled Zimbabwe out for just 111 to win the second Test by an innings and 106 runs — all inside three days. A run-out sealed the deal, with Mominul pulling off a sharp direct hit. Mehidy was the star again, picking up a brilliant 5-for after his handy knock earlier. With this the hosts complete a 2-0 series sweep in Zimababwe’s tour of Bangladesh 2025.

Zimbabwe still trail by 144 runs, now at 73/5 after 30.5 overs. Ben Curran remains the lone resistance for Zimbabwe, holding firm at 35 from 89 balls. However, the loss of Wessly Madhevere (0) to a sharp LBW from Mehidy Hasan Miraz left the visitors in a precarious position.

Ben Curran has battled his way to 21 off 55 balls, stitching together a partnership with Craig Ervine, who is on 14 from 24 deliveries. The visitors are currently 48/3 in 19 overs, still trailing Bangladesh by 169 runs.
Taijul Islam, who has already picked up two wickets, is asking questions with every delivery, also Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Zimbabwe end the second session of Day 3 at 8/1 in their second innings, still trailing by 209 runs.
After bowling out the visitors for 227 in the first innings, Bangladesh piled on a commanding 444 — thanks to Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s composed 104 and a valuable 41-run contribution from Tanzim Hasan Sakib at No. 10.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz is holding fort on 99 as Bangladesh continue to frustrate Zimbabwe. With the hosts at 439/9 after 124 overs, they now lead by 212 runs.
Hasan Mahmud, yet to get off the mark, is surviving a probing spell from Vincent Masekesa, who has already picked up four wickets. Earlier, Wessly Madhevere dismissed Tanzim Hasan Sakib for 41, ending a gritty 10th-wicket stand.

Bangladesh head into lunch at 404/8, leading Zimbabwe by 177 runs in Chattogram. Mehidy Hasan Miraz (76) and Tanzim Hasan Sakib (29) have added a 62-run stand for the ninth wicket.
Despite a brief rain interruption that forced an early lunch, Bangladesh managed to score 113 runs in the morning session off 27 overs.

Bangladesh are piling on the pressure in Chattogram. Mehidy Hasan Miraz (65) and Tanzim Hasan Sakib (21) have added an unbeaten 43-run stand for the ninth wicket, stretching the home side’s lead to 158.

Now the lead extends to 116 runs. Currently at 343/8 in 97.4 overs, the hosts are being led by Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who is batting on 44 off 66 balls.
The last wicket to fall was Taijul Islam, who was stumped for 20 after a useful 37-run partnership with Mehidy. Vincent Masekesa took the wicket. The Zimbabwe bowler has now taken four wickets with figures of 4/63.
Tanzim Hasan Sakib is the new batter at the crease, yet to get off the mark.
