Barbara J. Abbey, 88, of Westfield, NY passed on Oct. 13, 2025 with family by her side.
She was born on Aug. 16, 1937 in Westfield, NY to her late parents Gerry and Jeanne (Isham) Abbey.
Barb graduated from Westfield Academy Central Schools and Jamestown School of Practical Nursing. She went on to work at Westfield Memorial Hospital for 25 years and then went on to the WCA Home in Fredonia as the administrator.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with family.
Barb is survived by her siblings: George (Carol) Abbey, Louanne (late Dan) Snow, Candace (Gary) Cook, Claude (Pauletta) Abbey; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother and sister in law, Dale and Sally Abbey.
Private services will be held by the family.
