New South Wales and Sydney Sixers cricketer Joel Davies is facing the prospect of punishment following an alleged lewd send-off while celebrating a wicket during a first-grade match in Sydney.
During Sunday’s T20 contest between Sydney University and Manly Warringah, the 22-year-old appeared to thrust his hips in the batter’s direction following a dismissal, stumped by wicketkeeper Jay Lenton.

Umpires did not report Davies for the alleged act, but Cricket NSW confirmed to Fox Cricket that Davies has since been reported for a suspected breach of the code of conduct. He is yet to be charged.

According to reports, Manly players have claimed that Davies was not imitating a sex act.
Davies, the younger brother of fellow Blues player Ollie, has represented the Sydney Sixers in ten Big Bash League games since his debut in 2023.
Fox Cricket has contacted his management for contact.
