Commenting on the occasion, Dilip Vengsarkar, Big Cricket League Commissioner, said, “The Big Cricket League is a project that aims at fulfilling dreams of those who could never get a chance to play at the highest level. The BCL provided a valuable platform for 48 former international and first-class cricketers, alongside 60 amateur players, to showcase their skills and contribute to the growth of the sport. Organizers have already opened registrations for the next edition, with trials scheduled to begin in March 2025.
