The Milwaukee Bucks considered bringing Bogoljub Markovic stateside this year.
But in the end, the second-round rookie with braces is heading back to Serbia.
Markovic is returning to Mega Superbet (also known as KK Mega Basket), the team he played for last season, according to a press release from that club. It's the same club Nikola Jokic played for in Serbia.
Markovic was chosen with the No. 47 overall pick and is now a draft-and-stash.
The Bucks didn't have roster space, because they already have 15 standard contracts and three two-way deals.
Markovic played in five Summer League games and twice put up double figures (14 and 12 points).

He's still just 20 years old, so more development overseas isn't a bad thing.
Markovic measures at 6-foot-11 and 190 pounds.
Last season in Serbia, Markovic averaged 13.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. He has the potential to put up a lot of big stats in his return trip.
