Busy Saturday in High School Sports – Seehafer News

There’s plenty of high school baseball on tap for Saturday. Games include Manitowoc Lincoln hosting Sheboygan North in a doubleheader at Municipal Field. It’s the home opener for the Ships, with game one scheduled for 11 a.m.
Elsewhere, Roncalli hosts Sheboygan Lutheran, Two Rivers hosts Manitowoc Lutheran, Mishicot battles Freedom, and Crivitz in a triangular hosted by the Crivitz Wolverines.
FRCC doubleheaders besides Lincoln hosting Sheboygan North have De Pere hosting Bayport, Ashwaubenon heading to Green Bay Preble, Sheboygan South hosting Pulaski, and Notre Dame Academy making the short trip to Green Bay Southwest.
Other games include Kewaunee meeting Gogebic, Michigan, in Mauston, West De Pere at Seymour, Appleton North hosting Menominee Falls, Oshkosh West ventures to West Bend East, and Marinette hosting Peshtigo and Menominee, Michigan, in the Marinette Triangular.
The high school girls’ softball slate is full of games, including Manitowoc Lincoln hosting Sheboygan North at Citizens Park. The junior varsity will host Kiel at Citizens Park. Both games are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
Roncalli hosts Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian, and Mishicot looks to extend its three-game winning streak as the Indians host Valders and Chilton. Mishicot also hosts a junior varsity triangular with Manitowoc Lutheran and Notre Dame Academy of Green Bay.
Other varsity games have Reedsville meeting Mauston and Shell Lake in Mauston, New Holstein plays at Kewaskum, Sevastopol participates in The St. Mary Catholic triangular in Fox Crossing.
Xavier of Appleton hosts Mayville, Little Chute heads to the Crivitz triangular, Kaukauna is at The Hartford Quad, and Oshkosh West plays a doubleheader at Beaver Dam.
The Two Rivers trip to the Hodag Dome in Rhinelander for a Multi-school tournament has been cancelled.
Saturday’s High School Girls’ Soccer matches include Division Four’s top-ranked team, Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian, hosting St. Mary Springs of Fond Du Lac.
Elsewhere, Sheboygan North participates in the UW-Whitewater Invite, Sheboygan South is at Wauwatosa East,  Mayville hosts Kohler, Ashwaubenon heads to Appleton West, and Wausau West hosts De Pere.
Other matches have Notre Dame Academy of Green Bay meet The Ashland Oredockers at The Greenheck Fieldhouse in Schofield, Bayport hosts Wisconsin Rapids, and Pulaski travels to Slinger.
Lourdes Academy/Valley Christian of Oshkosh, ranked tenth in Division Four, heads to Fox Crossing to play St. Mary Catholic, the fifth-ranked team in Division Four.
Other matches on the docket include Fox Valley Lutheran’s short trip to Appleton North, Winneconne’s visit to Oshkosh West, Ozaukee/ Random Lake’s match is in Beaver Dam against Wayland Academy, and Shawano’s hosting of Stevens Point.
