    Fredonia senior Danielle Palisin had some pretty big shoes to fill in the circle after the graduation of pitcher Jordan Lucas. Saying she did a pretty good job would still be an understatement as she led the Hillbillies to a perfect record in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 action with 70 innings pitched striking out 72 batters and giving up just six earned runs all year for a 0.6 earned run average.
    She then hit .722 with four doubles and a triple making her the clear choice for not only the Pitcher of the Year and Player of the Year in the league.
    Fredonia also took home the Coach of the Year honors for head coach Jesse Beers and assistant Tim Wright.
    Undefeated Fredonia had four more girls named to the league’s First Team with sophomore shortstop Naomi Muck hit .350 in league games and on the year knocked in 10 RBIs with a double and 17 runs scored, freshman Jenna Fryberger hit .486 and drove in 18 runs with three doubles, four triples and 22 runs scored, Callie Draggett batted .429 with 22 RBIs, seven doubles, a home run and eight runs scored and Anna Delcamp hit .514 with 18 RBIs, five doubles, a triple, a home run and 11 runs scored.
    The ‘Billies added Ava Muck, Cassie Cramer and Leah Marsh to Second Team, while Bella Buckley and Rihanna Benner were honorable mentions.

    Olean finished second in the league and had three girls named to the First Team in Emma Edwards who batted .561 with 90 strikeouts in the circle, Anna Bates hit .484 with 24 RBIs and Riley Sudbrook hit .587.
    The Huskies added Allison Anastasia, Ava Finch and Mia Jones to the Second Team and Alaina Hirliman was an honorable mention.
    Allegany-Limestone was represented by Kailey Truman on the First Team hitting .467 with 189 strikeouts in the circle and Abby Peck batting .389 with 13 RBIs. The Gators were represented on the Second Team by Summer Rhow and Kennedy Honeck, while Peyton Truman, Kendall Lemon and Mya Hayes were honorable mentions.
    Southwestern added another pair to the First Team in senior Siri DuBois who hit .474 in league and over the season had 10 RBIs, three doubles, two triples, a home run and nine runs scored and Lexi Beckerink batted .457 in league and over the season accumulated nine RBIs, a double and seven runs scored.
    The Trojans added Addison Shaw and Madelyn Burnett to the Second Team with Kate Casel and Ariana Silakowski honorable mentions.

    Jamestown was represented on the First Team by sophomore Alyvia Remington who hit .347 and Salamanca junior Kenzie Crouse rounded out the First Team hitting .342.
    Jamestown added Kendall Hughes and Reagan Powers to the Second Team and Salamanca’s Skyla Dowdy joined them while Charli Ross and Jaelynne Brown were honorable mentions.
    Dunkirk received the Team Sportsmanship Award, while Emma Ahlstrom was named to the Second Team and Kassidy Donisi received honorable mention.
