JCSO: car vs. deer crash, 9:33 a.m. Sunday, Interstate 90 near the Nobles-Jackson county line.
JCSO: one-vehicle rollover with injuries, 8:54 p.m. Sunday, 830th Street near 460th Avenue, Lakefield. Michael Mathews, Lakefield, was driving a 2005 Nissan Titan pickup eastbound on 830th Street when he entered the ditch, struck a utility pole and rolled. Mathews was transported to the Windom Area Hospital. Assisting at the scene were the Lakefield Ambulance, Lakefield Fire Department and Lakefield Police Department.
JCSO: car vs. deer crash, 8:54 p.m. Monday, Interstate 90 near Alpha.
JCSO: report of abandoned pickup on its roof in a beanfield, 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, northeast of Lakefield. The 1992 Ford F-150 was eastbound on 830th Street near 470th Avenue when it entered the north ditch and rolled. The pickup was totalled. The crash remains under investigation.
Minnesota State Patrol: motorcycle crash with injuries, 6:23 p.m. Tuesday, eastbound Interstate 90 in mile 31, Olney Township. John Baker, 35, of Brandon, South Dakota, was driving a 1989 Honda Gold Wing eastbound when the motorcycle blew a tire and rolled into the center median. Baker and a passenger, Mary Bess Johnson, 39, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, each sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center. Both individuals were wearing helmets. Assisting at the scene were the Adrian Police Department, Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Rushmore Fire Department, Adrian Ambulance and Adrian Auto.

Minnesota State Patrol: one vehicle crash with injuries, 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Minnesota 60 at 510th Avenue, Cottonwood County. Porter Elliot Owen, 17, of St. Paul was driving a 2010 Honda CR-V westbound on Minnesota 60 when he left the roadway near 510th Avenue. Owen and a passenger, Cecilia Mae Owen, 15, of St. Paul, were both wearing seatbelts. They were each transported to Windom Area Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The airbag did deploy. Assisting at the scene were the Windom Police Department, Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office and Windom Ambulance.
Minnesota State Patrol: crash with injuries, 6:37 a.m. Friday, eastbound Interstate 90 in mile 1, Beaver Creek Township. Alhassan Ali Alinizi, 21, of Beaver Creek, was driving a 2015 Nissan Ultima eastbound when he lost control and entered the ditch sideways. Alinizi was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Sanford Sioux Falls, South Dakota with non-life threatening injuries. Assisting at the scene were Beaver Creek Rescue, Sanford Luverne Ambulance and the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
