Chris Woakes has been ruled out of the rest of England’s final Test against India after injuring his shoulder on the opening day.
Woakes landed awkwardly on his shoulder towards the end of day one at The Oval as he put in a dive to prevent a boundary.
The seam bowler immediately clutched his shoulder in pain and was eventually led off by medical staff after treatment, with his arm in a sling.
