Johnson Charles will be disappointed with that. The boundary is so short straight. Just stand up and whack it.
I don't mind when he gets funky with the reverse against spin but he hardly plays that shot against pace.

Well, that's certainly a way to get out.
Johnson steps way outside his off stump to try and paddle a delivery from Luke Wood down towards fine leg… but only manages to nutmeg himself and hit the base of his stumps.
His long run at the crease comes to an end in bizarre fashion.

The opener steps down the pitch and lifts Rashid down the ground for six.

It was straighter from Jacob Bethell. Since Hope's wicket – a great delivery from Adil Rashid – the West Indies handbrake has been on.
I can't work out if it is a wicket that is hard to bat on or if Johnson Charles is just struggling.

Sherfane Rutherford cuts the returning Jacob Bethell's delivery past backward point for four but falls from the following delivery, lifting the ball high in the air and giving time for Tom Banton to run round from long-on.

An excellent start from Will Jacks, just the two singles from it.
We've seen a few big hits in this innings so far, and six sixes is perhaps par, but five fours feels sub-optimal.
Johnson Charles's is on 37 from 30, he may need to up his rate.
