Kezlyn Pinckney
Junior, Marshall
Kezlyn Pinckney is a junior libero for the Marshall volleyball team. She first took over the libero role as a sophomore and only got stronger in her junior season this year, leading Marshall with 271 digs as well as 27 service aces and 58 set assists.
Q: When did you first start playing volleyball?
A: We [Kezlyn and Kyah] started playing when we were really little, like you start with the kids programs and work all the way up to here… When you’re a little kid, you just get to play with the older kids who are on varsity, and you just always looked up to them, so starting at a young age and looking up to them really helped.
Q: What’s one thing you’d want to have if you were stranded on a desert island?
A: My phone.
Q: If you could go anywhere in
the world, where would you want to go?
A: Costa Rica.
Q: What’s your dream job?
A: An ophthalmologist.
