Star Indian batter Virat Kohli reached a landmark half-century when he got past the fifty run mark for Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday as RCB posted a 9-wicket win over the hosts.
Kohli made an unbeaten 62 runs in just 45 deliveries to help RCB chase down the target of 174 runs set by RR with 15 deliveries o spare. The half-century also marked Kohli’s 100th T20 fifty.

“He has a game for every situation," Jaffer began.
“Today we saw him step out and hit sixes. Sometimes, we did not see that before. But now he has that, he uses that slog sweep," he said.
“He is a master. He has got 100-plus fifties in T20s also. Hell of numbers," the 47-year-old continued.
“I do not think we should be talking about him, he is such a great player," the former cricketer added.
Former team India spinner Piyush Chawla also chimed in with praises of his own as he lauded the 36-year-old’s abilities which place him in the upper echelons of the game.

“That is how he is, isn’t it? And that is why we put him at the top of the list of white-ball cricketers. Just because of this reason. When he goes out there, he makes things look so easy," the spinner said.
“This was a perfect platform for Virat Kohli. He is getting runs this season. He has started so well. And when you are chasing 173-odd runs and you get that kind of a start with Phil Salt doing what he does best, you know that Virat Kohli will go not out for sure," Chawla added.
