The second round of the high school football postseason in Alabama is here.
Here’s a breakdown of the Tuscaloosa-area teams that advanced and where they’ll be in Round 2. All AHSAA games are set for 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, while the AISA game has a 7 p.m. kickoff Thursday, Nov. 13.
No. 2 seed Vigor (9-2) at No. 1 seed Northside (11-0)
No. 1 seed American Christian (7-4) at No. 3 seed W.S. Neal (8-3)
No. 2 seed Colbert County (8-3) at No. 1 seed Gordo (9-1)
No. 2 seed Winfield (9-2) at No. 1 seed Mars Hill (11-0)
No. 2 seed Pleasant Valley (10-1) at No. 1 seed Tuscaloosa Academy (8-3)
No. 2 seed Berry (9-2) at No. 1 seed Addison (10-1)
No. 2 seed Hackleburg (8-3) at No. 1 seed Hubbertville (11-0)
No. 2 seed Linden (6-4) at No. 1 seed Leroy (11-0)
No. 2 seed Southern Choctaw (8-3) at No. 1 seed University Charter (9-1)
No. 2 seed Southern Academy (7-4) at No. 1 seed Chambers Academy (10-2)
Most of the Tuscaloosa-area football programs are available to stream on the NFHS Network. It is a subscription service that costs $13.99 but gives access to all content on the site, across all sports.
It is up to schools to provide the stream, so it’s not a guarantee all games in all sports will be available, but most area schools look to have at least some football games on the site.
