A goal by Lilly Dutton off an assist from Katherine Korynta was all the offense the Alexandria girls hockey team needed in its game on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, as it picked up a 1-0 win on the road over Brainerd-Little Falls.
Rachael Mohr earned the win in net for Alexandria as she made 28 saves on the night.

The Alexandria boys hockey team earned its third win of the season by defeating West Fargo Sheyenne 3-0 on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria.
A shutout in net by Brady Schluter, along with first period goals by Owen Klimek and Grady Olson, and a third-period goal by Ehren Anderson gave Alexandria its 3-0 win.
Charlie Bassen had a pair of assists for Alexandria, while Olson, Jacob Nicholson, and Cameron O’Shea each had one.
Alexandria (3-6) had a 29-25 shot on goal edge over West Fargo Sheyenne. Alexandria hosts the St. Cloud Crush (4-6-1) at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
