Indian actress Sonakshi Sinha shared pictures of her visiting the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test between Australia and India in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy on Thursday, December 26. She is reportedly holidaying Down Under at the moment, and made time to watch Rohit Sharma and company play.
The Lootera hitmaker, who is also the legendary actor Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, is known to be a huge cricket buff. She shared images of herself with her husband Zaheer Iqbal, along with a few of their friends on Instagram on the same day.

Australia took the upper hand on Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test against India on Thursday. The hosts ended the day in a comfortable position of 311/6, giving the visitors a lot to think about in the days to come. India will be worried by the lack of teeth shown by their bowlers on this eventful day.
Half-centuries from debutant Sam Konstas (60), Usman Khawaja (57), Marnus Labuschagne (72), and Steven Smith (68*) helped the Kangaroos pose such an imposing total.
India, as usual, were served well by their vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah, who picked up three wickets by conceding 75 runs.
Debutant Konstas, however, made the headlines for taking the attack to the Indians in the first session of play. His 60 came off just 65 deliveries and was studded with a lot of unusual strokes: the ramp, scoop and reverse scoop, especially against the highly threatening Bumrah.
