It’s a quiet day in terms of live action in Indian sport, but there will be plenty of reaction to the Federation Cup Athletics, and India’s contingent for the Asian Athletics Championships will be announced too.
Athletics: Animesh Kujur and Praveen Chithravel posted national record marks in the men’s 200m and men’s triple jump respectively, at the Federation Cup.
Kalinga Super Cup: NorthEast United beat Mohammedan SC 6-0, Jamshedpur FC beat Hyderabad FC 2-0
Hockey: Hockey India announced a 54-man probable core group for a camp in Bengaluru before the European leg of the Pro League in June.
