    Match Scorecard

Only 1 was required off 18 balls and Stuart Binny punched this to long on as the batters set off for a single. They win the title with this win. Sunil Gavaskar is in the stands and he would be happy with this. So is Sachin Tendulkar and the rest of the Indian team.
India are the champions of the International Masters League T20 2025. They beat West Indies in the final after chasing 149. Yuvraj Singh and Stuart Binny take India home in the 149-run chase.
Another one down. Nurse gets Yusuf Pathan LBW. This one turned in, Yusuf looked to work it on the leg side but the ball stayed low and he was done here. Yusuf reviewed but to no avail. A bit of jitters for India here.
India lose their set batter Rayudu but he has done the damage. Rayudu was looking to finish this off quickly. He charged down to Benn and looked to go all the way, however, he is caught at long-on. Yusuf Pathan is now in
Yuvraj had a bit of an argument there with Tino Best at the end of the previous over.
While they might have lost their second, the India Masters are pacing this chase pretty well. Rayudu has been the star with the bat so far and he is chipping in with boundaries.
Gurkeerat looked for a slog sweep. he attempted one off Nurse here, but finds the fielder to perfection at dee square. That was travelling but Walton takes a fine catch. India two down for 95. Is there a twist here?
Rayudu gets to his half century in style. An upper cut behind the wicket for a four to get to his half-ton. India are in complete control here.
The India Masters skipper Sachin Tendulkar is gone. Tino Best gets Sachin caught at deep square as the Indian star looked to pull this one.
India are in driver’s seat at the moment. 55 from the powerplay without any loss. Rayudu on 31 from 22, Sachin on 23 from 14. This is a good start from India. They need another 94 from 84.
India are going well at the moment. Rayudu has hit a few boundaries. Sachin has just hit two cuts. One for a four and then the other for a six.
Rayudu hits a big one here. India are up and running. They are at 17/0 after 2 overs.
The run-chase is here. India openers Sachin Tendulkar and Ambati Rayudu are here in the middle. The target is 149. It should not be that hard for the Indians. Powerplay holds key.
The run-chase is coming up next. Sachin Tendulkar is all set to walk out for one final time in this season.
I got Lara the second time. Last time I got him bowled, this time I got him with a bouncer. The wicket is good. We bowled in a good way. We are happy with the bowling unit. I am happy with my performance. I got three wickets, Dhawal bowled well, too. We are happy to restrict them to this score. This is not a big score looking at the tournament, but it is a final. If we get off to a good start in the powerplay, we can do it.
India keep West Indies under 150 here. Nurse looked to clear long-on for a six, however, he does not have distance here and has been caught in the deep. West Indies end on 148/7
Vinay Kumar castles Simmons here. This was in the slot and targeting the stumps. Simmons swings his bat to thin air and is gone.
Dhawal Kulkarni with a brilliant spell here. 19 from his four overs. A great 19th over for only five runs. Great execution of yorkers and great fielding when he occasionally did not.
Lendl Simmons gets to his fifty. His second half-ton of the season. He hit Irfan Pathan for a six over deep mid-wicket before punching him towards covers for a four. He is the key for Windies in the death overs. WI 139/5 after 18.
We head into another time-out. West Indies are at 120/5 after 16 overs. Simmonds is looking to unleash himself. He is at 36 from 28 balls
Not much long into the 15th over for West Indies to get to their 100. A single by Simmons to get WI to their 100 in 14.2. Simmons holds the key for them.
Windies are still not in the three digits here. They have played 14 overs for 98/5. They will eye something around 160.
Pawan Negi strikes again. He gets Walton after being hit for a six. This one stayed a bit low and crashed onto the stumps as the batter looked to sweep it. Denesh Ramdin is now in as WI are give down.
Stuart Binny has a wicket to his name too. He pins Ravi Rampaul in his first over. He reviewed but to no avail as this was pitching in line and crashing into the stumps. Walton is now in for WI. They are at 77/4 after 11.
Three wickets from India have pulled the Windies back. They were at 52/1 after 6 overs and have now put up 20 more in the next four while losing two more. Ravi Rampaul and Lendl Simmons are in the middle as they look to push the scoring rate now.
Nadeem has another. This is one is even bigger. He dismisses Dwayne Smith, the set batter, for 45. This one did not spin and came with the arm, too. WI 67/3 after 8.4 overs as it is time for drinks.
And India strike again. Pawan Negi has got Perkins right after the powerplay. This went straight with the arm as Perkins was hit on the pad in front. The umpire, Billy Bowden, thought for a second and then raised his finger. WI 2 down.
Despite the wicket of Brian Lara, West Indies are off to a strong start here after the powerplay. Smith is taking the bowlers on, while Perkins has slammed a six a few balls earlier. WI 52/1 after 6. India need to stop this flowing of runs, somehow.
Shahbaz Nadeem has quickly been called. We heard in the pitch report that this surface is dry and spinners might come into play well early. We have Nadeem here and he is getting the ball to turn.
Vinay Kumar gets the West Indies Masters captan Brian Lara. A back-of-a-length ball angling away from the batter. Lara looked to punch it on the off side, sends it straight to the point fielder. India have their first.
After 12 runs from Vinay Kumar’s over, Dhawal Kulkarni is here with a seven-run over. This could well have been a three-run over had not for that four from the blade of Lara. The Windies star drives this towards covers to send WI 23/0 after 3.
Smith welcomes Vinay Kumar in style. A six towards mid-wicket off the first ball in the second over. He slogs this fuller ball into the vacant area. Ohh, over throws by Vinay here. Four more. Windies off to a flier here.
Smith with the first four of the final. A backfoot punch in between mid-off and covers. Yuvraj does not dive. It races away to the fence for the first boundary of the final. We are up and running.
We are all set to go here in Raipur in this final. Dwayne Smith and Brian Lara are out to open the things for West Indies. The crowd is coming in numbers. Great atmosphere. Dhawal Kulkarni has the new nut in his hand. One slip, deep fine leg on the boundary. Off we go
And it’s time for the anthem. West Indies’ cricket’s anthem first, followed by India’s national anthem.
The action is set to begin. We have legend Sunil Gavaskar greeting the Indian players on the ground. Another legend Sachin Tenduylkar making him meet the Indian stars. And then he goes to the other camp. He meets West Indies Masters stars as we are all set to kick off the final.
It’s a beautiful evening here at the IMLT20. After 17 gruelling encounters, it’s the final day. We have seen runs galore; let’s find out what we have today. This still looks like a pretty good surface. If I move the surface, it is quite dry, so the spinners would come into play quite early. In the semifinals, captains opted to bowl first and lost both times. This might be the reason Lara has opted to bat today.
It’s a good track, it does not matter (the toss). We need to do the job right whenever we bat or bowl. We look to restrict them for as less as possible. We are going with the same team today. We have not made any change
We are gonna bat first. Over the last few days, we have seen little or no dew. I don’t think the ball is going to be affected much. Runs on the board are very important to put pressure on the chasing team. Whenever India play, the crowd comes out. We want to put on a really great show tonight. My guys are totally up to it. We had a few niggles ahead of the final, but everyone has shown up. We are fielding the same team.

India Masters and West Indies Masters are going with the same teams. No changes from their semifinal wins.
West Indies Masters (Playing XI): Dwayne Smith, William Perkins, Lendl Simmons, Brian Lara(c), Chadwick Walton, Denesh Ramdin(w), Ashley Nurse, Tino Best, Jerome Taylor, Sulieman Benn, Ravi Rampaul
India Masters (Playing XI): Ambati Rayudu(w), Sachin Tendulkar(c), Pawan Negi, Yuvraj Singh, Stuart Binny, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Vinay Kumar, Shahbaz Nadeem, Dhawal Kulkarni
West Indies captain Brian Lara has won the toss, and he has opted to bat first. India will be bowling in the final first.
It’s the time for the final. Sachin vs Lara for one more time in IMLT20.

The toss is not much far away from now. The two captains are set to enter the field for the flip of the coin.
Indian batters have been doing great in the tournament. But surprisingly, none of the Indian batters have hit a hundred so far. Five players have hit tons, but no one from India. Will someone do it today?
West Indies finished fourth in the group, winning three and losing two of their matches. They lost to India and Sri Lanka in the league and defeated Sri Lanka in the semifinal to setup a meeting with India. Will they beat the other team that defeated them in the group and lift the IMLT20 title?
India have been a dominant force in the International Masters League T20. They have worked with great cohesion in the batting and the bowling departments, which has seen them boss this tournament. They finished in second place in the points table, with four wins in five matches. India lost only one game in the league phase and that came against Australia, whom the Indian team defeated in the semifinal
It’s a nostalgic moment for many cricket fans who watched cricket in the late 1990s and early 2000s as Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara are up against each other in the IMLT20 2025 final. Sachin’s India Masters and Lara’s West Indies Masters go head-to-head for the title in the final of the inaugural edition of IMLT20. This shall be a cracker of a game. Stay tuned for all the updates on this one.
