    JKCA to begin Women’s Cricket Clinics from today – Daily Excelsior

    JAMMU, June 24: With an aim to sharpen the skills of women cricketers, the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) is all set to launch specialized Batting, Bowling and Wicketkeeping clinics for players under the U-19, U-23 and Senior categories from tomorrow. This was informed by Brig Anil Gupta, Member Administration JKCA, in a statement issued here today.
    The Batting and Wicket keeping Camp will be held from June 25 to July 5 at SMVDU Cricket Ground, Katra, while the Bowling Camp will run from June 26 to July 6 at SK Stadium, Srinagar.
    The Katra clinic will be supervised by Surabhi Dadheechi and Latika Kumari (Batting Coaches), Sarabjeet Singh (Wicketkeeping Coach), Divya Sarotia (Physiotherapist) and Satika Sharma (Trainer). The Srinagar camp will be led by P. Krishna Kumar and Sameer Ali (Bowling Coaches), along with Qazi Anoshah (Physiotherapist).
    Former international cricketer Latika Kumari will serve as Head Coach at Katra, while P. Krishna Kumar, known for his work in NCA clinics, will head the Srinagar camp. Latika had earlier guided the JKCA Senior Women’s team to a historic One-Day quarterfinal, while Krishna Kumar played a key role in the Senior Men’s team’s success. “These clinics will help fine-tune players’ skills ahead of national tournaments,” said Mithun Manhas, Member, Cricket Operations & Development, JKCA.
