    Lady Vols basketball first 2025-26 in-season top 25 ranking – Vols Wire

    Tennessee (2-1) tipped off its 2025-26 women’s basketball season on Nov. 4.
    The Lady Vols opened their season with a top-10 neutral site matchup. North Carolina State defeated Tennessee, 80-77, in the Ro Greensboro Invitational at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
    Tennessee recorded its first victory of the season versus ETSU at Food City Center on Nov. 7. The Lady Vols defeated East Tennessee State, 97-47.
    The Lady Vols also defeated UT Martin, 72-61, Sunday in the Pat Summitt Heritage Classic at Kathleen and Tom Elam Center in Martin, Tennessee.
    The first in-season USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll was released Tuesday. Tennessee is ranked No. 12, tied with TCU. The Lady Vols were ranked No. 9 during the preseason.
