WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Library is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 1106 Third Ave., Worthington. The library is closed Saturdays and Sundays. The Children’s Library, 206 11th St., Worthington, is open noon to 5:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; and 9 a.m. to noon Friday. It is closed Saturday and Sunday.
The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The library is closed Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Please note: The Nobles County Libraries (Adrian and Worthington) are not accepting donations of items until further notice. Please do not leave donations outside of the building or put them in the book drops.
New books for adults: “My Friends” by Fredrik Backman, and “Ocean” by David Attenborough.
New Books for children: “Bear Feels Sad” by Karma Wilson, and “Cat on the Run” by Aaron Blabey.
Entrance: 1106 Third Ave. Please use the entrance on the south side of the Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council building, the door closest to 11th Street.
Friends of the Library Book Club: Now reading “James” by Percival Everett.
Read on the patio: We have a patio, sort of. Enjoy reading among the flowers in the shade or sunshine.
Yoga with Melissa: 9:30 a.m. June 16. All ages welcome.

Adult Summer Reading Program: June 15 through Aug. 15. Watch our website for programs.
Adult Cooking Class: 5 to 7 p.m. June 26. Limit 20 people ages 19 and older or ages 16 and older with an adult.
Summer Reading Program: begins the week of June 10. Please sign your child(ren) up by calling the library at (507) 295-5340 or (507) 295-5346. Programs for grades K-3rd, 4th-5th, and 6th grade and up. Children are responsible for their own ride to and from the library.
June 10: 1 to 3 p.m. Just 4 Teens, grades 6-9. Paint pouring with Myra. Please register in advance.
June 11: 10 to 11 a.m., Storytime (Preschool-Kindergarten), “A Day without Crayons”; 1 to 2:30 p.m., (first through third grade), “It’s All in the Paint”. Please sign up in advance.
June 12: 1 to 3 p.m., Colorful Cooking (grades 4-5). Please sign up in advance.
June 17: 1 to 3 p.m., Just 4 Teens, Peacock Lamp and Trivia
