MI vs SRH Live Cricket Score Today.
Earlier in the game, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to put up a competitive total on a challenging surface. Abhishek Sharma provided a brisk start, even as his opening partner found it tough to get going. Handy contributions down the order from Heinrich Klaasen and Aniket Verma helped push the total to something their bowlers could work with. Will Jacks was the standout with the ball, picking up a couple of wickets, while the rest of the bowling unit chipped in, with everyone except Deepak Chahar and Mitchell Santner claiming one wicket apiece.
After a quiet start in the first couple of overs, the MI openers began to find their rhythm, especially Rohit Sharma, who looked in sublime touch. He got off to a brisk start but fell to a full toss just when he seemed set. Ryan Rickelton and Will Jacks then took control, steadying the innings and keeping the chase on track. After Rickelton’s departure, it was SKY who injected some momentum into the innings. Jacks chipped in with a valuable 36 before departing, and then it was a few lusty blows from Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma that got them close. However, with the scores tied, MI lost two wickets and five balls, which affected their NRR, and they will hope it does not come back to haunt them.
Back-to-back wins for Mumbai Indians! Normal service resumes at the Wankhede as the Men in Blue get their campaign back on track. This was a complete all-round performance, with Mumbai keeping the dangerous Sunrisers Hyderabad in check right through the game. With just two wins from seven outings now, the visitors’ playoff hopes are hanging by a thread.
18.1: Zeeshan Ansari to Tilak Varma, FOUR! FINALLY, MI GET A WIN HERE AND THEY CAN CELEBRATE IT! A short ball, around middle, Tilak Varma goes on his knee and changes his stance to reverse-sweep it. He beats the diving backward point fielder to his right and gets a boundary to seal the match. MI win by four wickets!
17.6: Eshan Malinga to Mitchell Santner, A dot ball! What an over from Eshan Malinga! Back of a length and around off, Santner dabs it down to point. MI still need that one run for the win.
Mitchell Santner walks out to bat now.
17.5: Eshan Malinga to Naman Dhir, OUT! LBW! Eshan Malinga has got his second wicket or not? Naman Dhir has reviewed it. A yorker around middle, Naman Dhir shuffles across a bit and goes low as well to sweep it across the line. He misses and gets pinged on the front pad. The third umpire comes into action, but Naman Dhir has already walked back to the dressing room. UltraEdge shows that there is no bat involved and the Ball Tracking comes after a long wait, which presents that it is three reds and the on field call stays.
17.4: Eshan Malinga to Naman Dhir, A low full toss and around off, Naman flicks it off the inner half of the bat but straight to mid-wicket again and still, MI need one run.
17.3: Eshan Malinga to Naman Dhir, Nagging length and around middle, Naman tucks it to mid-wicket and can’t get a single here.
    Naman Dhir is in next.
17.2: Eshan Malinga to Hardik Pandya, OUT! CAUGHT! What an anti-climax for Mumbai Indians and Hardik Pandya here as they need just one run, and he has to go back. A low full toss, around middle, Hardik Pandya flicks it but straight to the man at deep mid-wicket, where Ishan Kishan takes this catch.
17.1: Eshan Malinga to Tilak Varma, A high full toss, around middle, Tilak Varma looks to flick it to the leg side but gets a bit of top edge towards bdeep third for a single. The third umpire has been called to check whether it is a No Ball or not. He checks the replays and calls it a fair ball.
16.6: Harshal Patel to Tilak Varma, Short of a length and well outside off, with pace taken off, Tilak Varma throws his hands on it and gets it through the outer half of the bat to deep third for a single. MI need just 2 runs now.
16.5: Harshal Patel to Hardik Pandya, Much fuller and around off, Hardik drills it to long off for a single. MI need just 3 now.
16.4: Harshal Patel to Hardik Pandya, FOUR! STREAKY! Full again and well outside off, Hardik Pandya shuffles across to cover the stumps and swings at it. Gets a thick outside edge that flies over the short third man fielder for a boundary.
16.3: Harshal Patel to Hardik Pandya, SIX! UP AND OVER! Patel goes fuller and around off, with pace taken off, Hardik Pandya reads it early and sets himself at the deep inside of the crease. He lofts it and gets it past the wide long on fielder, Pat Cummins, for a biggie and Cummins gets his knee stuck in the turf as well while attempting the catch to his right.
16.2: Harshal Patel to Tilak Varma, Hard length and around middle, with pace on this time, Tilak pulls it to deep square leg for a single.
16.1: Harshal Patel to Tilak Varma, Good effort in the deep! An off-cutter into the pitch, back of a length and around middle, Tilak Varma swivels and pulls it to the right of deep backward square leg. NKR again does well there to slide it and saves a couple of runs.
15.6: Eshan Malinga to Tilak Varma, Full and on the pads, Tilak fetches out with a flick shot to deep mid-wicket for a single. MI need 17 runs now.
15.5: Eshan Malinga to Tilak Varma, FOUR! TIMED IT TO PERFECTION! Malinga goes fuller and around off, Tilak Varma gets underneath it and lofts it over mid off for a boundary.
