Montgomery had an outstanding football season this past year and due to that, had numerous players receive Northern Tier League Small School all-star accolades.
Montgomery’s Trace Furman was named NTL Player of the Year, Montgomery’s Josh Knoebel was named NTL Co-Offensive Player of the Year with South Williamsport’s Levi Butler, Montgomery’s Cameron Woltz was named NTL Defensive Player of the Year and Montgomery’s Layne Gingery was named NTL Lineman of the Year.
In addition, Joel Knoebel and Montgomery’s coaching staff were named NTL Staff of the Year.
Montgomery’s Furman and Knoebel were both named first-team running backs while Montgomery had a pair of first-team offensive lineman in Layne Gingery and Conner Jarrett. Montgomery’s Ethan Tupper earned first-team honors as a tight end/half back. Defensively, Montgomery’s Furman and Austin Luckenbill were named first-team defensive backs. Montgomery had a pair of first-team defensive ends in Mason Bryson and Briar Persing and Montgomery’s Jarrett was named a first-team defensive tackle. Montgomery’s Cameron Woltz and Lincoln Miller garnered first-team linebacker honors and Abe Childs was a first-team kicker for the Red Raiders.
Muncy’s Andrew Walters was a first-team quarterback while the Indians’ Dominic Guardini and Nate Rogers were first-team wide receivers. Muncy’s Gavin Barrows earned first-team honors as a utility player. Guardini was a first-team all-star at defensive back as well, as was Nate Rogers. Nick Delany earned first-team defensive end honors for Muncy, Nixon Lamper was a first-team defensive tackle and Jaxson Thomas was a first-team utility selection. Barrows also earned first-team honors as a punter.

Cowanesque Valley’s Dave Hess was a first-team defensive back, and South Williamsport’s Kasim Davenport and Cowanesque Valley’s Luke Sottolano were first-team defensive tackles. South Williamsport’s Cadden Smith garnered first-team offensive lineman honors as did Cowanesque Valley’s Sottolano. South Williamsport’s Cade Lusk was a first-team running back and Levi Butler was named first-team wide receiver. South Williamsport’s Garrett Lorson was a first-team utility player and Cowanesque Valley’s Dave Hess was a first-team utility player.
Earning second-team honors from Montgomery were Ethan Hugar (offensive line), Logan Joy (defensive back), Gage Furman (linebacker) and Knoebel (linebacker). South’s Kaiden Paulhamus (kicker), Lusk (linebacker), Colton Paulhamus (linebacker), Cadden Smith (defensive tackle), Kamdyn Bubb (defensive end and offensive line), Samir Moy (defensive back), Taylor Naugle (defensive back), Neeko Bowen (tight end/halfback), Caleb Johnson (wide receiver), Cole Gerber (quarterback) and Camden Hannan (offensive line) all were second-team all-star selections.
Muncy’s Nixon Lamper (offensive line) and Nasir Miller (defensive tackle) earned second-team honors, as did Cowanesque Valley’s Stevie Olson (defensive end), Dave Hess (running back), Kegan Lane (running back), Cam Stahli (wide receiver and utility) and Gavin Churchill (tight end/halfback).
Muncy, South, Montgomery, South Williamsport and Cowanesque all had a handful of honorable mention all-star selections as well.
Montgomery’s Parker Persing (quarterback), Caleb Parykn (offensive line) and Seth McClintock (defensive back); South’s Kaiden Paulhamus (punter), Garrett Lorson (linebacker), Dominick Goode (linebacker), Blake Marquardt (defensive tackle), Eli White (running back), Gavin Lumbard (offensive line) and Elijah Harvey (offensive line); Muncy’s Nick Delany (offensive line), Carter Feigles (wide receiver), Wes Somits (linebacker) and Austin Hartzel (kicker); and Cowanesque Valley’s Gavin Churchill (linebacker) were honorable mention all-star selections.
