A lot more attention is required on my diet. I’m focusing on specific exercises to maintain my cricket fitness. We don’t have the same demands as fast bowlers, so our requirements aren’t as intense,” Dhoni explained. “What really aids my fitness, alongside eating right and gym sessions, is indulging in other sports. I enjoy playing tennis, badminton, football, and paddle in my spare time. It keeps me involved and is an effective way to stay fit.”
Moreover, MS Dhoni’s transition from captaincy began in earnest in 2024, when he handed the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad. While whispers swirled regarding his future in the IPL, Dhoni put these speculations to rest by confirming his return to the Chennai Super Kings for at least one more season, much to the delight of his fans.
