Multan Sultans have lost Yasir Khan for 29 runs but the key is they have Rizwan still batting and is joined by the dangerous Usman Khan.
MS duo of Mohammad Rizwan and Usman Khan have build a strong partnership for the second wicket and are looking to up the ante.
Usman Khan has scored a fifty after MS lost their skipper Mohammad Rizwan. Khan brought up his fifty off 29 deliveries and is looking to smash the ISU bowlers to all corners of the park.
Islamabad United bowlers have fought back after having a timid start. ISU have brought down MS’s CRR to 8.47.
Usman Khan’s 40-ball 61 helped Multan Sultans reach 168 in 20 overs. Usman was well-supported by skipper Mohammad Rizwan (36) as the hosts reached a decent total.
Was a great effort from the boys to pull it back, especially after the start they had. It (the pitch) is a little bit slow, and mixing up as much as you can is important. We got really good depth in our squad and excited to see them play good cricket. It is definitely chaseable, hopefully our batters approach this responsibly and win it.
Islamabad United lose their first, and Ubaid Shah gets a vital wicket with a short ball that is edged by Sahibzada Farhan to the keeper. UltraEdge shows the slighest of spikes, and the wicket is given.

Despite losing Farhan early on, Islamabad keep up their fast start to the innings. Gous goes after Ubaid, hitting two fours and one six to take UI to 57/1 in five overs.

After a huge maximum off Usama Mir and then rotating the strike, the partnership between Colin Munro and Andries Gous reaches 50 from just 27 balls, which is vital to Islamabad’s chase.

Munro hits Iftikhar for a nice stroke over extra cover for four runs, and it brings Islamabd United to 103/1.
There’s a spate of controversy after that as Munro shows a “chucking” signal to the bowler, which angers the fielding side. They surround the umpire, who has to calm things down.

Drama!! Munro tries to pick out a slower delivery from Michael Bracewell, but does not get the required distance and is caught by… who else but Iftikhar Ahmed, standing firm at long on. A wry smile from the fielder as Munro walks past him.

A massive six from Andries Gous off Iftikhar takes the United States cricketer to a well-deserved half century off just 29 balls.

Nawaz looks to be in a hurry to end the match, and slog sweeps Usama Mir to a huge six. Islamabad’s score crosses the 150-mark, currently hitting at a run rate nearing 10.

A late consolation wicket for Chris Jordan, who gets Mohammad Nawaz with a short delivery, which the batter tries to slog away but gets the slighest of touches before going to the keeper’s gloves. The umpire does not budge, but Multan review, and UltraEdge shows the slighest of spikes.

Gous hits Ubaid Shah for a six in the very first ball, ending the run chase with 17 balls to go.
The US batter ends the innings with 80 runs off 45 balls.
