"Hey guys, couple days off to my birthday now, just getting into training and getting ready to head to Paris in about three weeks," Kyrgios said. He went on to express his gratitude for the countless birthday messages he received, acknowledging that it had been almost impossible to respond to each one individually.
"I really appreciate the love and the support from all the fans, family, and friends that I'm yet to reply to. I really felt the love — the big 3-0. Thank you everyone," he added.
Kyrgios, who has yet to play a single clay court tournament this season, surprised many by revealing his plans to travel to Paris. His announcement has sparked speculation that he is expecting to receive a wild card entry into the French Open, one of the few major tournaments where his participation has often been unpredictable.
