No. 1 Recruiting Class Gets Major 4th of July News originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The USC Trojans already have the No. 1 recruiting class for the 2026 cycle.
With 31 commitments, 10 of which appear in On3’s top 100 player rankings, coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans are hitting on all cylinders.
On Friday, that top class got a whole better with a pledge from four-star wide receiver Ethan “Boobie” Feaster. The DeSoto, Texas, native delivered 57 receptions for 824 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.
With more than 50 offers from competing programs, Feaster chose the Trojans over LSU, Texas A&M, Miami and Alabama, where he also took official visits over the last two months.
In detailing why USC would be his destination, Feaster spoke on the offense and how he believes he will find success with the Trojans.
“With USC, you know they will have a great quarterback throwing their receivers the call with Lincoln Riley as the head coach,” said Feaster. “I love the coaching staff, I love the city around it, I love L.A., and it’s a great place to be in. And Coach Simmons, that’s my guy.”
In February, Feaster accelerated his college entry by reclassifying to the Class of 2026.
With Feaster, four-stars Trent Mosley, Luc Weaver and Roderick Tezeno, and three-star Ja’Myron Baker, the Trojans now have five receiver commitments in this class.
Passing the ball wasn’t the issue last season at USC, as the team finished 10th in passing yards by averaging 291.9 yards per game. The Trojans finished with a 145.3 rushing yards per game average, 82nd in the country. That imbalance led to the offense generating 30.2 points per game, ranking 50th.
