CLARKSBURG — Kendall Armstrong tossed in 17 points, including four treys, as Class A, No. 5 Tygarts Valley posted a 49-28 Mason Dixon Conference win over Notre Dame on Wednesday evening.
Jacob Wamsley chipped in 10 points for the Bulldogs, who improve to 10-3 on the season.
Brayden Helmick led the Irish with 11.
“The kids played great defense and were selective in their shots,” said TV coach Tom Wamsley, whose team limited Notre Dame to just 11 second-half points.
The Bulldogs host No. 4 East Hardy at 7:30 p.m. today.
Notre Dame’s record fell to 6-7. The Irish visit Pocahontas County this evening.
