The Ohio State Buckeyes already have three highly-rated wide receivers committed in the 2026 recruiting class. Ohio State could add to that, though, with another top playmaker.
On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported Wednesday that four-star receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt has included the Buckeyes on his last of final five schools.
Dixon-Wyatt will make his final decision on his recruitment Sunday. In addition to Ohio State, Dixon-Wyatt will be deciding between the Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas Longhorns, Oregon Ducks and USC Trojans.
The 6-foot-2 and 180-pound wide receiver is a top 15 prospect at his position and in California in the 2026 recruiting class according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
The 247Sports composite rankings also have Dixon-Wyatt listed as the No. 107 overall prospect in the 2026 class.
Dixon-Wyatt attends Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif.
If the Buckeyes land Dixon-Wyatt, he will be the third four-star receiver to commit to Ohio State in the 2026 class.
Chris Henry Jr., who is Dixon-Wyatt’s teammate at Mater Dei, is Ohio State’s top-ranked recruit in the upcoming class. Henry has been committed to the Buckeyes for nearly two years.
Fellow four-star receiver Jaeden Ricketts, who is from Pataskala, Ohio, is also committed to the Buckeyes. Ricketts is a top 250 prospect in the 2026 class.
Three-star wideout Brock Boyd has given a verbal commitment to the Buckeyes as well.
Ohio State has received 11 commitments from prospects in the upcoming class. There’s still several months before signing day, but the 247Sports composite rankings have the Buckeyes ranked with the fifth-best class in the cycle.
