Every year has been better than the previous one. An unbelievable seven individual season records and eight career records. Back-to-back, first team All-Ohio nods. That’s how you get to be known as the greatest hitter in the history of our program, regardless of era.”

The four-time Columbiana offensive player of the year’s play also registered on a statewide level as her 2025 batting average was third in the state and her career average was sixth all-time in the state of Ohio according to records kept by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.

“She hit safely in 29 of 30 games this year,” Kurtz said. “She had at least one hit in 96 out of the 102 games she played in her career and ended her career on a 25-game hit streak. She had 21 multiple-hit games this years. When we were facing our best pitching of the season in the last 10 games she had nine home runs and 28 RBIs. Against the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference she hit .912 (31 for 34) with nine doubles, nine home runs, 43 RBIs and 35 runs scored.”
