Punjab couldn’t have asked for a better start despite Shubman Gill’s absence. Sukhdeep Bajwa strikes twice up front to put Sikkim on the back foot, and Arshdeep Singh soon joins in with another breakthrough, tightening Punjab’s grip early on.
Arshdeep Singh is on a roll! The left-armer picks up two more wickets in quick succession, and Sikkim are now in deep trouble as Punjab completely dominate the proceedings.
Arshdeep Singh is on fire! The India star pacer completes a brilliant five-wicket haul as Sikkim slip to 53/8 in 16.4 overs. Punjab are in complete control, with Arshdeep’s devastating spell leaving the batting side in total disarray.
Sikkim are bowled out for 75 in 22.2 overs. Arshdeep Singh leads the demolition with a superb five-wicket haul, while Mayank Markande chips in as Punjab wrap up the innings in commanding fashion.
Punjab openers Prabhsimran Singh and Harnoor Singh are at the crease to chase down a modest total of 75. There is no Abhishek Sharma today.
Punjab are off to a cracking start. Harnoor Singh comes out firing with a fluent 21 off 11, while skipper Prabhsimran Singh matches the intent. The openers race to 50 without loss in just 4.5 overs, putting the bowlers under immediate pressure.
Punjab cruise to a dominant win. Prabhsimran Singh smashes a blistering 53 off just 26 balls, while Harnoor Singh plays the perfect supporting role. The openers race to 81 without loss in 6.2 overs to seal a comprehensive victory.
