FREDONIA — Londyn Wilmot had 18 kills to go along with five aces, seven digs and four blocks as No. 4 Fredonia swept No. 5 Tonawanda 25-8, 25-14, 25-22 in a Section VI Class B1 quarterfinal volleyball match Thursday at Fredonia High School.
Elly Saunders had seven kills, an ace and 15 digs; Maddie Krakowiak had six kills; Alyse Bugaj had two kills, 27 assists, 15 digs and a block; and Sidalee Lewis had five aces and five digs for the Hillbillies.
Fredonia will travel to No. 1 Depew for a Monday semifinal.
MELQUIST, TRASK LEAD FALCONER
FALCONER — Hannah Melquist had 23 kills and Reagan Trask dished out 36 assists as No. 3 Falconer outlasted No. 6 Gowanda 25-15, 21-25, 25-19, 25-14 in a Section VI Class C quarterfinal Thursday.

Melquist added 19 digs and three aces; Trask had 13 digs and two aces; Kaylee Green had nine kills and four blocks; Emily Zaranek had eight kills and 12 digs; Nylah Sharpe had 26 digs; and Mylie Zaranek had 13 digs and five kills for the Golden Falcons.
Falconer will travel to No. 2 Eden for a Monday semifinal.
CHAUTAUQUA LAKE COASTS
MAYVILLE — Noli Paddock had 10 kills and three blocks to lead No. 4 Chautauqua Lake over No. 12 Akron 25-9, 25-7, 25-8 in a Class C quarterfinal.
Jeanine Group had seven kills; Kinslee Motter had five kills, six assists and three blocks; Evie Woodis had four kills; and Karagan Fairbank had four digs and 26 assists for the Eagles.

Chautauqua Lake will travel to No. 1 Portville for a Monday semifinal.
ELLICOTTVILLE UPSETS PANTHERS
PANAMA — Riley Whitmer had 15 kills to power No. 6 Ellicottville past No. 3 Panama 27-25, 25-20, 25-22 in a Class D quarterfinal.
Ande Northrup had six kills and 25 assists; Izzy Coburn had six kills; and Karle Northrup had four kills and three aces for the Eagles.
Lilly Hyde had 12 kills and six digs; Kiera Loberg had six kills, 30 assists, three blocks and six digs; and Mckenna Kolstee had nine kills and three blocks for the Panthers.
Ellicottville will travel to No. 2 Westfield for a Monday semifinal.
MAPLE GROVE RALLIES
ELLERY — Mady Haglund handed out 31 assists to go along with five digs and five aces as No. 4 Maple Grove edged No. 5 Cassadaga Valley 21-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-14 in a Class D quarterfinal.
Annie Steffen had eight kills and three aces; Zoey Foley had six kills, eight digs and three aces; Bry Cornell had seven kills, two blocks and four aces; Meg Ryan had seven kills, a block and two aces; Rylee King had four kills and an ace; and Kendall Danielson had three aces for the Red Dragons.
Melanie Myles had 17 assists and six digs; Adrianna Myers had 12 digs and two aces; Jazmyn Debo had four digs and seven aces; Alexis Pattyson had 14 kills, a block and four digs; and Payton Meder had five kills and a block for the Cougars.
Maple Grove will travel to No. 1 Clymer for a Monday semifinal.
PIRATES SURVIVE AGAINST BROCTON
CLYMER — Keira Kinal had nine kills, an assist, a block and an ace as No. 1 Clymer outlasted No. 8 Brocton 25-16, 23-25, 25-22, 8-25, 15-10 in a Class D quarterfinal.
Mikaela Jackson had four kills, two assists, two blocks and five digs; Harleigh Faulkner had three kills, a block, five digs and an ace; Olivia Dellamora had five digs and three aces; and Addie Wiggers had nine assists for the Pirates.
Evie Morrison led the Bulldogs with 19 kills, seven digs, four assists and an ace; Zoe Spiller had 14 kills, four digs, two assists and an ace; Grace Lundin had 15 digs; and Ary Nickerson had eight kills, two digs and an assist.
Clymer will host No. 4 Maple Grove in a Monday semifinal.
“It wasn’t easy and they had to battle through five sets,  but the best wins are never easy. Proud of how we battled together until the very last serve,” Clymer head coach Velvet Persons said. “This team is a true team being that when one player needs to regroup another player can step on the court and continue to play like no changes had happened.”
PIONEER OUSTS MARAUDERS
YORKSHIRE — No. 1 Pioneer swept No. 8 Dunkirk 25-14, 25-14, 25-12 in a Class A2 quarterfinal.
The Panthers will host No. 5 Lake Shore in a Monday semifinal.
SOUTHWESTERN ELIMINATED
MIDDLEPORT — No. 3 Royalton-Hartland eliminated No. 6 Southwestern with a 19-25, 28-26, 25-23, 25-16 Class B2 quarterfinal win.
Elise Kartesz had two blocks, two aces, 20 assists and five digs; Gianna Sirianni had an ace, 10 kills and eight digs; and Madi Burnett had 10 kills and five blocks for the Trojans.
The Rams will host No. 7 JFK in a Monday semifinal.
