Fifty-run partnership between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Jalaj Saxena in the rescue act for Maharashtra. The pair has started opening up, driving overpitched deliveries to the fence with ease.
Karun Nair and Devdutt Padikkal combine for a 50-run stand after the two early jolts.
Prasanna: Gurjapneet Singh, brought back into the attack and switching to bowl from the Pavilion end in the 29th over, brings the 55-run third-wicket stand (90 balls) between left-hander Virat Singh (28, 47b, 4×4) and Sharandeep Singh (35 n.o., 73b, 3×4, 1×6) to an end. Virat nicks behind to the keeper.
Ishan Kishan the new batter in at 5.
Vipraj Nigam removes Abhishek Reddy to break the 93-run stand with Bharat. Shaik Rasheed is the new batter in for Andhra.
The wicket of skipper Denish Das (16) has brought in Riyan Parag at 4. Pradyun Saikia going well at the top, unbeaten on 69.

Fifty for Kona Bharat! The wicketkeeper-bat puts up a solid opening partnership with Abhishek Reddy. Bharat has fallen down the pecking order in the Indian system and will be hoping for a bucketload of runs to bring his name back in the reckoning.
Yudhvir picks up his second. Ajinkya Rahane is dismissed for 27 off 66 balls. All three dismissals in the game so far have been edges to the keeper.
A gaffe in the scoreboard had shown Sarfaraz had been out for a duck in the first over. The updated scorecard says, in fact, it was Musheer who was dismissed. Sarfaraz has come in to bat at 5 after Rahane’s dismissal.
Atharva Taide falls for 18 against Saurav. Dhruv Shorey joins Aman Mokhade at the crease.
Ayush Mhatre is dismissed for 22 off 59 by Yudhvir Singh. Siddhesh Lad joins Rahane in the middle.
Pradyun Saikia scores a fifty for Assam against Gujarat. A 44-run stand brewing with skipper Denish Das.
Two players in either end of their careers stick up a 50-run stand after Sarfaraz’s early dismissal.
Mhatre unbeaten on 28, while former skipper Rahane bats on 21.

Two wickets in four balls for Baroda against Odisha. Barghav Bhatt removes Sandeep Pattnaik for nought after Gaurav Choudhary was run out on 24. Skipper Subranshu Senapati in at 4.
Right on cue, Atit Sheth removes the set Swastik Samal on 24. Odisha three down.

Swapnil Singh removes Irfan Ali to give Tripura the breakthrough against Services.
Vishu Kashyap breaks the 45-run opening stand, removing Manthan Khutkar on 21. Suyash Prabhudessai is joined by Abhinav Tejrana.
Prasanna: Left-arm spinner D.T. Chandrasekar strikes off his second ball after coming into the attack in the 14th over. Kumar Suraj goes on the backfoot to cut and misses for the ball to knock his middle stump off the ground.
Nishant Sindhu falls for 10 off 9 balls to Z. A. Khan. Haryana in dire straits at 55/4.
WICKET!! Nikin Jose departs for 12. Looks to come down the track and flick one through midwicket. The inside edge pops up off the pad and the slip fielder completes an easy catch.
Two wickets in quick succession for Hyderabad. Arpit Rana falls for 7 before Yash Dhull is dismissed for a duck. A wicket apiece for Punnaiah and Milind.

WICKET!! Arzan Nagwaswalla breaks the Assam opening partnership. Parvej Musaraf falls for 10 off 22 balls.
WICKET!! Saransh picks his second. Removes Jaskaran Singh Paul on 15. Anmolpreet Singh joins Uday Saharan in the middle.
Anmol’s stay is cut short by Saransh. He departs for a four-ball nought.
WICKET! Mayank Shandilya falls for 9 off 11 balls against Z.A. Khan. Nishant Sindhu in at 4 for Haryana.
YB Sarangi: Bengal won the toss and asked Uttarakhand to bat. The visiting openers showed some patience before the first change bowler Ishan Porel, replacing Mohd Shami, had Avneesh Sudha (12) caught at second slip in his second over and the innings’ 11th over. The star pair Shami-Akash Deep bowled eight overs together, but Uttarakhand batters negotiated well on a warm morning. Nothing much for the pacers so far.
WICKET!! The switch to spin works for Saurashtra. Mayank Agarwal holes out to the mid-on fielder against Dharmendrasinh Jadeja for 2.
First runs off the bat after 7.3 overs for Maharashtra, Nawale pulls NP Basil over square leg for six!

Sachin Baby is playing his 100th Ranji Trophy match and he is the first player from Kerala to achieve this feat.
Four for Kerala! Second one for Basil NP. Ankeet Bawne is late to bring the bat down on a back-of-a-length ball, ends up inside-edging it onto the stumps.
Couple of interesting talking points from the game:
    – 17-year-old off-spinner Hemchudeshan debuts for TN.
    – India U-19 all-rounder R.S. Ambrish (18) also debuts.
    – 32-year-old left-arm spinner D.T. Chandrasekar plays a Ranji match for TN after 10 years.
WICKET!! Skipper Ankit Kumar falls for nought. Kunal Yadav manages to clean him up.
WICKET!! Prabhsimran Singh falls early! Off-spinner Saransh Jain dismisses him for 4 off 11 balls.
Nikin Jose survives! He was caught behind the wicket off skipper Unadkat, but the third umpire rules that the left-armer had overstepped.
There goes the third! NP Basil gets one to move away and bounce a touch. Catches the top end of Arshin Kulkarni’s bat and a brilliant catch from Kunnummal in the cordon.
WICKET!! Musheer Khan falls for a duck for Mumbai against J&K. Auqib Nabi with the wicket. Ajinkya Rahane joins Ayush Mhatre at the crease.
