    Round four of the 2025/26 Ranji Trophy began on November 8; here’s a round-up of all the action from day two.

Madhya Pradesh were 181-7 in response to Goa’s 284. After a first-innings lead of 31, Chandigarh were 168-7 against neighbours Punjab. Saurashtra, 47-1, need another 26 to avoid the innings defeat against Kerala.

    Having declared on 602-7, Tripura had Assam at 67-4. After bowling out Services for 248, Gujarat recovered from 118-4 to 171-4. Bengal scored 474 and had Railways at 55-5 before the latter recovered to 97-5. With four wickets in hand, Haryana still need 71 to avoid the innings defeat against Uttarakhand. 
    Puducherry were 108-2 after bowling out Chhattisgarh for 377. Having posted 446, Mumbai had Himachal Pradesh at 94-7. Jammu & Kashmir continued with their excellent run as they secured a 99-run first-innings lead against Delhi. Having conceded 364 against Rajasthan, Hyderabad recovered from 117-5 to 221-5.
    Sikkim finished on 307-8 to extend their lead against Bihar to 42 runs. After amassing 400, Manipur had Meghalaya at 56-4. Akash Kumar Choudhary broke a plethora of records as Meghalaya declared on 628-6. Arunachal Pradesh need 526 to make them bat again, and have seven wickets in hand.
