Indian T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav followed the trend of sharing recap reels of 2024 on Instagram. The Mr. 360 of modern-day cricket looked back on some of his best and worst moments of the year in the Instagram reel.
Yadav had a memorable 2024 as he took a game-changing catch in the T20 World Cup Final against South Africa. Soon after, the BCCI appointed him as India’s full-time T20I skipper, and he led the nation to bilateral series wins against Bangladesh and South Africa.
Sharing his views on how 2024 was him, Suryakumar Yadav wrote on Instagram:
The video has received almost 250,000 likes within three hours on Instagram. While Yadav wrote in the first part of the caption that 2024 had the highest of highs, he aimed to enter 2025 with renewed energy to achieve even higher goals.
The year 2025 will start with a new challenge for Suryakumar Yadav as he will lead India in a home T20I series against England. The series will feature five matches and will kickstart India’s preparations for the T20 World Cup scheduled to happen in India and Sri Lanka in 2026.
Yadav will also be keen to perform well for his IPL team Mumbai Indians, who retained him ahead of the mega auction. MI finished last in the IPL points table last season, which is why the MI team management will expect better performances from Yadav and his teammates. It will be exciting to see how Mr. 360 of India performs in 2025.
