Red-hot star departs in massive Heat blow after strong start — BBL LIVE – fox sports

Fresh off a glittering century on Friday, Matt Renshaw’s hot form has continued, however he’s fallen well short of three figures as the Heat need a minor miracle against the Thunder.
Chasing the Thunder’s total of 4/193, the Heat will need a massive final five overs. They are 4-118 off 15. with last week’s hero Renshaw out for 43.
Earlier, the exciting but unpredictable Sam Konstas hit a well constructed 63 for the Thunder while opening partner Matthew Gilkes looked good in his innings of 78. The duo put on 127, which is the second highest partnership in Thunder history.

It’s Konstas’ second BBL 50 from eight innings.
Three nights ago, the Heat allowed the Scorchers smack 257 before miraculously chasing it down. They won’t have to run down that much, but once again will be needing plenty of luck in the second innings given it is a fairly slow Manuka Oval deck.

    MATCH PREVIEW
The Sydney Thunder will be aiming to avoid a horror 0-3 start to BBL15 when they take their home game against the Brisbane Heat to Canberra’s Manuka Oval.
The Thunder were handily defeated by the Sixers in the Sydney Smash and are backing up to play two days later.
David Warner could only manage two in his first game for the Thunder this season while Sam Konstas also flopped (2).
Brisbane meanwhile are coming off one of the most impressive BBL wins of all time after chasing down a mammoth score of 258 to beat the Perth Scorchers thanks to centuries from Matt Renshaw and Jack Wildermuth at the Gabba.
There should be plenty of fireworks in this one as well, with both the Thunder and Heat possessing dangerous batting line ups.
The first ball is set to be bowled at 7:15pm AEDT.
