Seivertson, a Wheeling Park and West Liberty golfer and alum, won the 2025 Kalkreuth Amateur Golf Championship, finishing with a -7 at the end of the two-day event, with shot totals of 30-33 37-33. Adam Gill finished in second place. Emily Holzopfel repeated as women’s champion with a -3. Joshua Rusmisel won the junior championship, Brad Baker won a playoff against Bob Clark to win the senior championship, James Dailer won the super senior championship, and Seth Hand won a playoff vs. Ron Stephens for the first flight title. This year’s tournament raised a record-$70,000 for the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center.
