Pitt lands PG from OSU
PITTSBURGH — Pitt signed point guard Damarco Minor to its 2025 transfer class on Thursday.
Minor averaged 9.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 84 percent from the foul line in 33 games (32 starts) at Oregon State last season.
He scored in double figures 16 times, with a pair of 20-plus point games, in his one season at Oregon State. He had a pair of 10-assist games and posted five or more assists in a game 17 times. As a sophomore at SIUE, Minor averaged 14.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

n Former NFL star Shannon Sharpe says he is stepping away temporarily from his ESPN duties while he deals with what he called false allegations in a $50 million civil lawsuit filed against him by a woman who alleges he raped and threatened her. Sharpe said in a statement Thursday that he will return to ESPN at the start of the NFL preseason. Attorneys filed the lawsuit Sunday in Clark County, Nevada, for a woman listed in court documents as Jane Doe. The lawsuit also accuses Sharpe of using physical force on her and inflicting emotional distress.
