Game 3 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final is underway, with the Oilers and Panthers tied at one game apiece as the series shifts to Florida.
After Edmonton took Game 1 in overtime, Florida turned the tables on them and won Game 2 in double overtime, with Brad Marchand scoring the game winner.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is playing for Edmonton after overcoming an undisclosed ailment. Follow along below for live updates.
P3 10:08 – Panthers 5, Oilers 1
We're back to 5-on-5 as the Panthers kill off the latest penalty.
"We want the Cup" rings out around Amerant Bank Arena.

Another penalty is called, because why not?! Marchand heads to the box for hooking McDavid. Replays show McDavid drew the call by holding onto Marchand's stick.
P3 12:38 – Panthers 5, Oilers 1
No further damage done on the Panthers' latest power play but this game is beyond saving for the Oilers. They'd do well to get out of here tonight without losing their cool any further. A bad hit could earn a frustrated player a suspension, which is the last thing Edmonton will need as it looks to even the series in Game 4.
P3 13:30 – Panthers 5, Oilers 1
"We want Skinner" chants from the home fans in Florida, taunting the Oilers goalie they chased from the game.
P3 14:53 – Panthers 5, Oilers 1
The Oilers are really losing their cool now. Janmark punches Greer in the back of the head, followed by Arvidsson getting into a scrap with Kulikov.
Janmark heads to the box for roughing, giving the Panthers their seventh power play of the night.
P3 15:38 – Panthers 5, Oilers 1
Brown gets the puck all alone in front of net but can't finish! He goes for a forehand-backhand move but Bobrovsky just manages to poke the puck away.

With the Panthers leading 5-1, Stuart Skinner is replaced by Calvin Pickard.
This game is very likely over, so the real question will be, which goalie starts Game 4?
P3 16:33 – Panthers 5, Oilers 1
A beautiful move on the power play ends with Reinhart passing behind his back to a wide open Ekblad, who fires into the empty net.
P3 17:30 – Panthers 4, Oilers 1
Just seconds into the Florida power play, Bennett fires a powerful wrist shot from near the faceoff circle that clangs off the iron.
If this game isn't over yet, another Panthers goal would certainly end it.
P3 17:41 – Panthers 4, Oilers 1
The Oilers simply cannot get out of their own way in this game. Skinner attempts to clear the puck up the glass under pressure from Tkachuk and airmails it over the boards. The delay of game penalty gives the Panthers their sixth power play of the night.
P3 20:00 – Panthers 4, Oilers 1
Twenty minutes left in this one. An Oilers comeback feels unlikely but with their firepower, you never know! What does feel likely is a fistfight.

The Oilers didn’t come unglued tonight, they showed up that way.
Oilers 1, Panthers 4
With his breakaway goal in the second period, Sam Bennett has now scored in each game of this Stanley Cup Final. The same can be said of Brad Marchand after he scored in the opening minute of tonight's game.
Bennett and Marchand are just the second set of teammates in NHL history to open a Final with a goal streak of at least three games. The only other duo to do so was Minnesota North Star forwards Steve Payne and Dino Ciccarelli in 1981.
Things were looking up for the Oilers when Corey Perry scored in the second period to cut Edmonton's deficit to 2-1. Having also scored the late equalizer in Game 2, Perry is just the third player in NHL history age 40 or older to score multiple goals in the Stanley Cup Final, joining Mark Recchi (3 in 2011 with Bruins) and Igor Larionov (3 in 2002 with Red Wings).
With his assist on Carter Verhaeghe’s goal in the second period, Nate Schmidt now has one in each of the first three games of the Stanley Cup Final. He's just the eighth defenseman during the expansion era (since 1967-68) to open a Final with a three-game assist streak.

Not much transpires during 45 seconds of Panthers power play before the period ends, but once the horn sounds, we get plenty more jawing back and forth between the two teams.
If this was a regular-season game instead of the Stanley Cup Final, we'd be expecting a full-on line brawl by the end of this one.
You could see that Darnell Nurse penalty coming a mile away.
P2 0:44 – Panthers 4, Oilers 1
With several players battling for the puck against the glass, Nurse cross-checks Lundell and gets called for the penalty. A second or two later, Walman pops Lundell in the face and is a bit fortunate not to take a penalty as well, though Lundell certainly sold the punch as much as he could.
