    Grab your snacks and an extra soda or two — it’s going to be a big football weekend.
    The bowl game schedule is crowded on Friday and Saturday, and the NFL has games set for Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
    Here’s a viewing guide for all the football fans out there.
    Bowl games have taken place throughout the month, but the schedule really ramps up this weekend.
    Five bowl games will be played on Friday, and eight games are set for Saturday, including BYU vs. Colorado in the Alamo Bowl.
    Here’s the bowl game schedule for this weekend, according to NCAA.com.
    Armed Forces Bowl: Navy vs. Oklahoma
    10 a.m. MST on ESPN
    Birmingham Bowl: Georgia Tech vs. Vanderbilt
    1:30 p.m. MST on ESPN
    Libery Bowl: Arkansas vs. Texas Tech
    5 p.m. MST on ESPN
    Holiday Bowl: Syracuse vs. Washington State
    6 p.m. MST on Fox
    Las Vegas Bowl: USC vs. Texas A&M
    8:30 p.m. MST on ESPN
    Fenway Bowl: UConn vs. North Carolina
    9 a.m. MST on ESPN
    Pinstripe Bowl: Boston College vs. Nebraska
    10 a.m. MST on ABC
    New Mexico Bowl: TCU vs. Louisiana
    12:15 p.m. MST on ESPN
    Pop-Tarts Bowl: Miami vs. No. 18 Iowa State
    1:30 p.m. MST on ABC
    Arizona Bowl: Colorado State vs. Miami (Ohio)
    2:30 p.m. MST on CW Network
    Military Bowl: NC State vs. East Carolina
    3:45 p.m. MST on ESPN
    Alamo Bowl: No. 17 BYU vs. No. 23 Colorado

    Independence Bowl: No. 22 Army vs. Louisiana Tech

    The NFL is also in action on Saturday, and all three of the games have playoff implications.
    If the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos win, they’ll clinch a spot in the playoffs, according to ESPN.
    The Los Angeles Rams need to beat the Arizona Cardinals to remain in control of the NFC West.

    11 a.m. MST on NFL Network
    Game 2: Denver Broncos vs. Cincinnati Bengals
    2:30 p.m. MST on NFL Network
    Game 3: Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals
    6 p.m. MST on NFL Network
    As usual, the bulk of this week’s NFL games scheduled for Sunday.
    However, there are only two games set for the afternoon slot, instead of three or four.
    The Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers will play on Monday at 6:15 p.m. MST on ESPN and ABC.
