    CLEARFIELD — The Hollidaysburg boys tennis team clinched the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference East division title with a 5-0 victory over Clearfield on Wednesday afternoon in high school boys tennis action.
    The Golden Tigers got singles wins from Garrett Bouchard, Michael Waibel and Alex Arbogast, while also receiving doubles victories from the team of Jacob Ferris and Jacob Sidney, and Colin Gardner and Stanley Zheng.
    Hollidaysburg’s record improved to 7-0 on the season.

    Tyrone tumbles
    TYRONE — Tyrone’s boys tennis team was blanked in seven matches by Juniata in a 7-0 loss.
    The defeat drops the Golden Eagles to 0-9 on the season.

    Central triumphs
    Central got 26 assists and eight service points from Logan Hummel in a 3-0 sweep of Bishop Guilfoyle in boys high school volleyball play.
    The Dragons won the sets by scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-16.
    Bryson Brooks tallied 10 points and six kills for the Scarlet Dragons, while Christian Heuston ended with 15 kills and Blake Reynolds added eight digs.
    Brenden Young fronted the Marauders with 21 assists, Karter Shall tallied 10 digs and Justin Jiang led with nine kills.
