We just have two other bits of transfer news to bring you up to speed with from Tuesday.
Burnley made their fourth new signing of the summer after completing a deal for France Under-21 winger Loum Tchaouna from Lazio.
The 21-year-old, who played at this summer's European Under-21 Championship, joined on a five-year deal for a fee reported to be about £13m., external
Brighton, meanwhile, added French defender Olivier Boscagli to their ranks on a free transfer following his departure from PSV Eindhoven.
The 27-year-old, who can play as left-back or centre-back, signed a five-year contract with the south-coast club.

Bayern Munich's director of sport Max Eberl was informed that Premier League champions Liverpool had no intention of selling Luis Diaz and would not enter into discussions for the attacker.
Diaz, 28, was the subject of a similar approach from Barcelona earlier this summer, which the Premier League champions also rebuffed.
Liverpool are adamant that Diaz is not for sale at any price this summer, given his key contribution to the team since his arrival from Porto in 2022.
Tuesday's other big news came on Merseyside.
Premier League champions Liverpool rejected a formal approach from Bayern Munich for forward Luis Diaz.
That news broke just before it was confirmed that the Reds' England defender Jarell Quansah had sealed a £35m move to Bayer Leverkusen.
While Everton announced that star centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite has signed a new five-year contract.

Best attacking signing for Man City. Probably the easiest one you'll have all day. A certain Norwegian, possibly not even human, Erling Haaland. Broke all scoring records in his first season and delivered a treble. Followed up by an even more impressive fourth prem league title in a row.

As already mentioned, Joao Pedro yesterday become the 18th forward to sign for Chelsea in just over three years under their current owners.
He joined from Brighton in a deal worth £60m, taking their total spending on attackers in that period to £560m.
The 23-year-old, who has signed an eight-year contract, could go straight in to the squad for Chelsea's Club World Cup quarter-final with Palmeiras on Saturday in Philadelphia.
The Fluminense youth product scored 30 goals in 70 games for Brighton after joining from Watford in 2023 for just under £30m, which at the time was a club record fee.Craig Nelson

Thierno Barry was born in Lyon and left French club Sochaux aged 19 to play in the Belgian second division with Beveren.
The following season he moved to Swiss Super League club Basel, before joining Villarreal in August 2024 in a deal worth about £13m.
In total, the 22-year-old has scored 61 goals and provided 16 assists in 133 appearances across his four different clubs.
He has also played eight times for France Under-21s, including five appearances at the recent European Championships in Slovakia.
Barry scored his only goal for France U21s in their group-stage win over Georgia and helped them reach the semi-finals, where they lost to Germany.

As a best striker from an Arsenal point of view, I'd have to say Giroud. I wasn't impressed by his signing at first, I thought it ruined Podolski's chance, who was probably the more senior player and got stuck out wide, but he proved how good he was. Our worst has to be Chamakh what a waste of money. In general though, at other clubs, Fernando Torres has to be both the best [Liverpool] and worst [Chelsea].

Everton have moved closer to reaching an agreement with Villarreal over signing France Under-21s striker Thierno Barry.
The 22-year-old has a £34.5m release clause with the Spanish club and is understood to be keen on a move to Merseyside.
Barry scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 38 games last season as Villarreal finished fifth in La Liga to qualify for the Champions League.
He would join as a replacement for striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin who left Everton upon the expiry of his contract this week.
Forward Armando Broja also exited when his loan ended, returning to Chelsea without the deal being made permanent.Craig Nelson
