Transfer news LIVE!
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United remain active in the summer transfer window with the start of the new Premier League season just days away. The Gunners are said to be plotting an opening bid worth around £52m for Eberechi Eze and could partially fund a move by cashing in on Fabio Vieira amid reports that Stuttgart are in talks for a permanent deal.
Liverpool saw a bid for Alexander Isak rejected by Newcastle last week but there have been whispers that a second offer is imminent following the striker’s return to training. Rodrygo has been linked with a move to Anfield as an alternative with the Brazilian likely to leave Real Madrid.
There has been a major development regarding the future of Benjamin Sesko as both Man Utd and Newcastle are chasing the RB Leipzig striker. Chelsea are set to confirm a triple exit thus paving the way for further arrivals amid links to Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho. Elsewhere, Heung-min Son’s time at Tottenham is poised to come to an end as an official announcement over a switch to LAFC could come today. Bayer Leverkusen and Inter Milan are among various clubs reportedly interested in Rasmus Hojlund.
The Danish striker’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain as the Red Devils continue to rival Newcastle for in-demand frontman Benjamin Sesko.
If United land a deal for Sesko or another new forward this summer, it’s looking increasingly likely that Hojlund will be on his way out.
Should that be the case, Leverkusen – now helmed by Erik Ten Hag, who brought the Dane to Old Trafford – are said to be interested in his services, along with Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt, while CaughtOffside reports that the likes of Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli are also closely monitoring the situation.
Chelsea have been busy in the transfer window this summer, already adding eight new players to the first-team, and have now turned their attention to sales as they look to balance the books.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Lesley Ugochukwu are both nearing moves away from Stamford Bridge after Djorde Petrovic, Noni Madueke, and Joao Felix were offloaded in recent weeks, with several other first-team players also set to depart.
A new squad list published on the club website features each of Chelsea’s new summer signings but omits nine players who spent last season on loan and are expected to be sold or loaned again this summer.

Marc Casado continues to be linked with a Barcelona exit this summer.
Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have previously been credited with an interest in the talented midfielder, and now it would appear that Tottenham have entered the race as they seek improvements in the middle of the park.
Spanish publication Sport claim Casado has a £26million price-tag which should mean he is affordable for Spurs.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will undergo his medical at Everton today.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano.
It is understood that Everton have agreed a £25million deal to sign the Chelsea midfielder after just one season at Stamford Bridge.
Stuttgart want to sign Fabio Vieira from Arsenal.
The Athletic report that the Bundesliga outfit are looking to land the attacking midfielder permanently, rather than on loan.
Vieira returned to former club Porto on loan last season, but did not do enough to earn a permanent deal and does not appear to fit into Mikel Arteta’s plans ahead of the new season.
If Arsenal do manage to sell Vieira, could it boost their chances of landing Eberechi Eze?
Newcastle have made improved bid to RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko.
According to the Athletic, the new offer worth at least £69million (€80million) after positive talks between clubs and with the striker.
Nothing has been agreed but Leipzig are said to currently favour Newcastle as Manchester United ae yet to submit a proposal.
The drama persists over a deal for Chuba Akpom.
The former Arsenal striker was set for a medical at Birmingham before Ipswich hijacked the move. That was after Middlesbrough, who sold Akpom to Ajax, had tried a last-minute attempt to lure him back to Teeside.
Akpom was supposed to complete a medical at Ipswich on Monday, but that, according to Sky, is in the balance, with Birmingham not giving up on signing the Englishman.
Oxford seem to have beaten off plenty of competition to sign Will Lankshear.
The Championship side, according to the Daily Telegraph, will land the striker on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season.
Newcastle have made a second and improved bid for Benjamin Sesko.
David Ornstein reports that the Magpies have made an offer worth over €80m, with Fabrizio Romano adding that there would be another €10m in add-ons to take the total package to €90m.
Ornstein reports that Leipzig currently favour Newcastle as a destination for their star striker over Manchester United, who are still yet to bid, and won’t bid, according to Romano, unless they get clear communication from Sesko that he would prefer to move to Old Trafford.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Nottingham Forest will sign Angus Gunn.
Gunn will arrive at the City Ground on a free transfer after he was released by Norwich at the end of last season.
