The new Premier League season is just two weeks away and the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are all working hard on completing deals before the big kick-off. The Gunners finally have their much-needed striker, and £64million man Viktor Gyokeres made his debut in Thursday’s pre-season defeat to Tottenham. Next on the hitlist is Eberechi Eze, but the Crystal Palace star’s £68m release clause expires today, so Arsenal have some work to do.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are working on a first formal offer for Alexander Isak, who is desperate to leave Newcastle. A second British-record-beating deal is in the offing, and this one could cost upwards of £135. Newcastle want Benjamin Sesko has his replacement, though Man United are doing all they can to snap up the RB Leipzig striker.
Chelsea are closing in on the double signing of Jorrel Hato and Xavi Simons, and retain an interest in Alejandro Garnacho. The spending does not stop. Chelsea have been monitoring Club Brugge’s Ardon Jashari, but look set to miss out on the midfielder.

Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan at Juve from Paris Saint-Germain, having rejected advances from Spurs. and proved a success.

Manchester United and Newcastle, who are battling for Sesko, are also monitoring the situation.

The Premier League pair have both reportedly made contact with RB Leipzig over a move for the £70m-rated striker. Man Utd are desperate to continue upgrading their forward line, having already spent in excess of £130million on Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
Newcastle, meanwhile, face the ever-growing reality of losing star frontman Alexander Isak, who has asked to leave amid interest from Liverpool. The Magpies have reportedly told the Premier League champions that they will not sanction Isak’s exit without first signing two replacements.
