    ESCANABA — A historic 40-5 season was bound to come with individual accolades for Escanaba softball.
    For seniors Grayson LaMarche, Katey Lamb and McKenzie Engebretson, those accolades include All-State recognition. All three earned First Team All-State honors for Division 2 by the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association.

    LaMarche earned First Team honors as a pitcher for the third time in her legendary career. The now Michigan Wolverine was 26-3 with a 0.397 ERA and a WHIP of 0.523 while opponents batted .110 off of her. She accumulated 351 strikeouts and issued 24 walks. Of the 22 runs she allowed, nine were earned across 158 2/3 innings.
    She also earned a .535 batting average with 19 doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 35 RBIs.

    Lamb earned First Time honors for the second time at third base. She finished with a .471 batting average with 10 home runs and 69 RBIs. She accumulated 65 hits, 15 doubles and drew 18 walks while committing four errors all season.

    Engebretson earned All State honors for the first time in her career at first base. She earned a .489 batting average with a .531 on-base percentage. She ripped 65 hits with 13 doubles, two triples and 44 RBIs while scoring 34 times. She also recorded 120 putouts to two errors for a .992 fielding percentage.
