On a day where the atmosphere was enlivened by the entertainment from the nearby Sway carnival, Trojans lost a closely contested match against Sway by 7 runs, but remain just above the relegation zone and one place ahead of Sway, writes Mike Vimpany.
Sway won the toss and batted first and posted 248 for 7 with Matt Young making 32, Alex Hall 22, Josh Bailey 51, Tom Richards 47, captain David Steadman 29, Tom Burton 16 not out and Danny Russell 14 not out with 15 runs coming in the final over of the innings.
For Trojans, Syed Agha took 3 wickets, Rahul Bhome 2 and Tim Felstead and Ronit Wadwhani 1 apiece.
When Trojans batted they lost 3 wickets for 58, but a 4th wicket partnership of 109 between Zaheer Khan and Nigel Le Bas put Trojans very much back in contention.

After Khan was out for 92, Ashmit Khaneja helped Le Bas add 31 for the 5th wicket.
However both were out at the same score with Le Bas out for 50 and Khaneja for 21 which left Trojans needing 51 runs for victory in less than 6 overs.
Ibrahim Farid and Stef Sibu kept the momentum of the innings going and 13 runs were required off the last over to win, but after scoring 2 off the first ball, Trojans lost wickets in 3 successive balls to run outs with in each case the batsmen attempting a second run.
This left Trojans needing 8 runs off 2 balls with 1 wicket left, but they lost a wicket for the fourth successive ball and they finished 241 all out with Sway the victors by 7 runs.
Three Sway bowlers took 2 wickets in a Trojans innings that featured 3 run outs.
Trojans took 8 points (3 for bowling and 5 for batting) while Sway took the maximum 22 points.
