Mainland allowed a little over 15 points per game en route to an appearance in the Region 1-5A finals. Spruce Creek had two Division I commits and a three-star prospect on its defensive line. Even DeLand, which surrendered nearly 36 points per game a season ago, cut down to approximately 19 per game.
