The United South Central/Alden-Conger track teams hosted the Viesselman True Team Track Invitational Meet in Wells on Tuesday, April 8.
The USC/A-C girls took fourth place with 175 points, just in front of the Blue Earth Area girls who had 174 points in fifth place.
Taking first was Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton with 279.5, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial/Nicollet second with 271.5 and New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva third with 214. Waterville-Elysian-Morristown was sixth at 151.
For the boys, USC/A-C was in third place with 244 points. Taking first was LCWM/N with 292 points, JWP second at 248, BEA fourth with 198, WEM fifth at 151 and NRHEG was sixth at 150.
USC/A-C Girls Results
Leading the way for the girls was Chloe Bullerman who took first place in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 52.90. Madison Passer was seventh in that event at 58.46 and Elise Hanson 10th at 1:01.78.
Danyelle Dickson took second in 400 meters with a time of 1:04.67. Alexis Guenther also took second in the 1600 meters at 6:26.
Taking a third-place finish was Madison Passer in the 100 high hurdles at 19.10. Sydney Sauke was sixth in that event at 19.52. Passer also took a third place in the high jump at 4-6. Hannah Warmka was fourth in the high jump, also at 4-6.
Dickson, Warmka, Guenther and Clare Kruse took fourth place in the 4×400-meter relay at 4:52.32. Becca Kruse, Jaelyn Stangler, Sauke and Tatum Stangler also took fourth place in the 4×100-meter relay at 58.23.
Sauke, Bullerman, Stangler and Hanson were fifth in the 4×200-meter relay at 2:07.28. Kruse, Emma Johnson, Warmka and Guenther were fifth in the 4×800-meter relay at 12:36.80. Johnson was fifth in the 3200 meters at 16:36.17. Sauke was fifth in the triple jump at 29 feet, and Passer was ninth at 27-7.5 feet.
Becca Kruse was ninth place in the 200 meters at 32.74. Madison Meyer was 10th in the same event at 33.49.
Kruse was also 10th in the shot put at 25-8, and Johnson was 10th in the discus at 68 feet.
USC/A-C Boys Results
The USC/AC boys were led by Brant Blosser who was first in the 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 16.41. The Rebels swept the top three spots in this event with Isaac Hartman taking second at 17.88 and Jayden Barnick taking third at 18.55.
Blosser also took first in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 44.23. Hartman was fourth at 46.43, Jace Ignaszewski was fifth at 46.90 and Barnick was sixth at 47.68.
Barnick was second in the high jump at 5-10. Barnick, Hartman, Blosser and Shaune Peterson were second in the 4×400-meter relay at 3:55.32.
Henry Beaver was second in the shot put going 41-1. Anthony Cardoza was sixth at 35-10.5 and Ezra Edwards was seventh at 35-10.
Edwards was also second in the discus with a distance of 126-2. In seventh was Peterson at 85-8.5 and in eighth was Parker Lau at 80.5.5 and in ninth was Skyler Sandsmark at 79-5.5.
Barnick was second in the high jump going 5-10.
Caleb Whiteside, Gavin Bird, Alexis Arguijo and Angel Dejesus were second in the 4×100-meter relay at 49.53.
Dejesus was also third in the long jump at 18-5. The 4×200-meter relay team of Ignaszewski, Peterson, Joseph Ridler and Jaiden Aranda was third at 1:50.35.
Hartman was fourth in the triple jump at 36-2, while Arguijo was sixth at 34-5.5.
Noah Hartman was fifth in the 3200 meters at 14:26.90. Laiken Farris was fifth in the 1600 meters at 5:36.74 and Aiden Edwards was seventh at 5:57.53.
Joshua Brooks was sixth in the pole vault at 9-6, Noah Hartman was ninth at 7-6 and Ridler was 10th at 7-0.
Garrett Lau was sixth in the 800 meters at 2:39.21. Farris was eighth at 2:39.87.
Dejusus was eighth in the 100-meter dash at 13.06 and Bird was 10th at 13.38. Peterson was 10th in the 400 meters at 1:00.1.
