It’s a big world out there
It’s Sunday during the MLB offseason and that makes it feel like this question already has an answer.
There are no MLB games between now and when spring training begins in February. Even those games don’t really mean much, so the real thing begins in late March if you want to pick nits. That means there is a huge gap in the sports watching world for those that are solely focused on baseball. It leads me to the question of the day. When MLB is not on, what sports do you focus on?
Now, it’s Sunday, so the easy answer is probably football, but what about the other two major American sports in basketball and hockey? What about the biggest sport in the world, soccer? Are these even on your radar these days? If you’re a Union fan, you know that they are a step closer to playing for a title. If you like Premier League soccer, you know that Arsenal look unbeatable right now. There are other sports out there, but do you really watch them?
