It’s a Big matchup in the NCAA volleyball semifinals. Nebraska faces Penn State in a rematch of the Big Ten co-champions, winner advancing to the national championship.
In their final match of the regular season, the Nittany Lions downed the Huskers in four sets to hand Nebraska its first and only conference loss. The programs split the Big Ten championship for Penn State’s first since 2017 and Nebraska’s second straight. But nothing else matters at this point.

Nebraska has its eyes on the prize, going for a second straight title game appearance. To get there, it has to hold off its conference rival, and that will be no easy task. The Huskers may have played on this stage before, but the Nittany Lions looked their best all season in their five-set win over Creighton in the regional finals.
It comes down to who can extend the rallies, who can put the ball away when it matters and who plays like a national champion. Lexi Rodriguez, Merritt Beason, Jess Mruzik and more will take the court for what may be their final collegiate match. Both teams enter the game at 33-2, but only one will come out on top and compete for the trophy.
Here’s how to watch the Huskers and Nittany Lions go head-to-head in the NCAA volleyball semifinals.
