The player auction ahead of the 2026 WPL took place in New Delhi today. Here are all the squads after the end of the auction.
A total of 73 slots (including 23 overseas spots) were up for grabs across the five teams in the league’s first mega-auction since its inaugural season.
India World Cup winner Deepti Sharma made headlines as the most expensive player in the auction, moving to UP Warriorz for INR 3.2 crore as the franchise used their right to match (RTM) option to bring her back. That also made Deepti the joint-second most expensive player in WPL auction history, behind India opener Smriti Mandhana (INR 3.4 crore to RCB, in the inaugural auction).
Here are what the final squads look like after the auction.
